1. Before your pet gets groomed, we will take the time for a detailed and complete evaluation. At Gateway Paw House, we only want the want the best for your pet.

2. We pride ourselves that our entire staff are the best at handling your pet in a gentle and confident manner. We are also very experienced pet groomers and will deliver the best results for your pet. We always want your pet to look and feel fabulous.

3. We not only have an indoor facility but also a 1300 square foot outdoor area with artificial grass, Forever Lawn K9 Grass, specifically design for a dog daycare center. Your pet gets the the best of both worlds.

5. We do not want our dog day care area to be overcrowded. We will work to always be a personal grooming and daycare dog center, thus being able to provide personal attention to your pet.

6. We want Gateway Paw House to be FUN and provide personal ATTENTION for all of our four legged guests. We do not want to be just a place to board your pet. We want to be an interactive dog day care center, a place where your pet can get both social and mental enrichment. With our care and love, plus our stimulating interactive activities created for each pet, we will provide a complete social and mental enrichment environment for your pet.

Hours – We are open Monday thru Friday for Doggy Day Care from 7:00am until 7:00pm. Pet Grooming services are from 8:00am until 5:00pm. Even though we are open until 7:00pm, because of our doggy day care responsibilities, we can not work beyond 5:00pm for our pet grooming services. Our Saturday hours are from 8:00am until 4:00pm and we are closed on Sunday.

Age – Pets must be at least 12 weeks of age

Personality – Pet must be friendly and non-aggressive when interacting with people or other animals.

Wellness – All dogs must be generally healthy and have had no communicable infection within the last 45 days or been exposed to any potential communicable disease that you know of.

Spaying and Neutering – Since sexually intact pets can create some problems, pets that are 6 months of age or older, need to be spayed or neutered.

Pet Application – A Gateway Paw House application needs to be completed and submitted before we can accept a pet.

Pet Vaccinations – Both for grooming services and doggy day care, all pets must be current on the following vaccinations – Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella (Kennel Cough) and Rabies. Proof of vaccinations can be provided by veterinary hospital receipt, a copy of pet’s medical records, a health certificate or a confirmation call to a veterinarian’s office.

Fleas and Ticks – All pets should be on a preventative flea and tick product. If your pet comes in with either fleas or ticks, your pet will need to be bathed and a bathing charge will be applied.

Control of Your Pet – All pets need to be on a leash or placed in a pet carrier when coming in and leaving. Also, please do not use any prong or choke collars. If using a retractable leash, please limit the length to no longer than 10 feet.

Another Person Picking Up – If you are having someone else pick up your pet, please let us know and give us the needed details or we will not be able to release your pet.

Meals – Some pet may need a meal sometime during the day. Please let us know and bring the food and tells us of any specific feeding instructions. We do provide fresh water at all times and also provide a snack for our guests!

Toys – Since we have plenty of toys, you will not need to bring any yourself.

Eliminations – If your pet should eliminate outside, please let us know. We will take care of it.
